About

Hey, that's me!

The blog

Yellow line is a blog written by me, Matteo Penzo: manager, innovator and inventor (hey, I’m not kidding). The name Yellow Line comes from the Milano underground line 3, which I have use for the last 5 years (and more) to daily commute to the office.

Citing Peter Abilla I’d also like to point out that

Me

View Matteo Penzo's profile on LinkedInAt Gabetti Property Solutions SPA - one of the biggest real estate companies in Italy - I head the IT planning & technologies team defining techonological solutions and supervising the project implementation of the IT projects of all the group companies. Here at Gabetti I supervised the redesign of the GabettiGroup.com and Gabetti.it websites and managed the landing of the Group on SecondLife; I’m actually working on the virtualization of our whole server infrastructure.

I formerly headed the Design and Development team and the Research Center at Consultechnology; my research projects focused on natural interactions between people and computers, automotive applications, and universal design—specifically for the elderly and the disabled using eyetracking technology and voice recognition/TextToSpeech.

I’m a speaker at national and international seminars—including The Interaction Frontiers, Lift06, CHI2005, Macromedia, and VNU to mention just a few—and I have been professor for the Interaction Design course in the Masters program in Humanistic Computer Studies at Bicocca University, Milan.

I’ve written numerous articles on the subjects of natural interfaces, user experience, and technological innovation. I’m also the UXnet Local Ambassador for Milan. I’m the proud founder and publisher of an online magazine about user experience for Adobe Flash called Flashability.
